Then worked for 10 years as a project, development, and sales engineer in various companies, giving expertise especially around micro assembly and test solutions of semiconductors in the field of photonic integrated circuits.

Hans-Christian Ahlswede, our system architect and second managing director. Deep knowledge about physics, optics, electronics, mechanics and software.

Dr. Semjon Köhnke, comes from the field of experimental quantum optics, where he gained experience with interferometric setups and low-noise electronics in particular. He has been working in technical sales of high-precision interferometers at SmarAct for eight years now, contributing to the company's development from a start-up to a medium-sized enterprise.

Günter Schwarting, with over 20 years of software development experience spanning embedded systems, scientific microscopy, and industrial photonics applications, bridges the gap between low-level engineering and high-level solutions. Starting as a freelance developer, he went on to work in scientific imaging research before spending nearly a decade building modular industrial software at Pulsar Photonics.

James Napier, expert in optical modeling and simulation, lecturing for multiple years. Alongside his strengths in patent law allow us to quickly build up and secure IP. Living in the US, gives us direct access to local photonics industry.

Prof. Dr. habil. Ulrich Teubner, brings broad experience with various technologies that utilize photonics, especially ultra short lasers. Our scientific advisor and key to academic fields.
